Good Monday Morning!!! Hard to believe we are into October already, but I’m rollin’ with it! Sunflowers, sunshine, apple cider, pumpkins, football, and warm & hearty breakfasts are top of mind this time of year.

A simple breakfast doesn’t mean you can’t go bold! A massive floral piece at one end of the dining table is a big wake-up!

Cock-a-doodle-doo!! A pair of ceramic hens add a little breakfast time flair.

Casual acrylic chargers from Hobby Lobby play host to lovely cocoa brown & white Z Gallerie dishes. The sunflower “napkins” are dish towels from Dollar Tree.

A big ol’ basket of assorted breakfast pastries to please every palate makes a great edible centerpiece! The Home Goods sunflower table runner pulls the basket, floral arrangement, and place settings together as one.

  1. I adore sunflowers Alycia, such a delightful flower for Fall 🌻 the large arrangement anchoring one end of the table is delightful and what a fabulous table to enjoy an elegant brunch! The pastry basket centerpiece is such a great idea and I always love seeing your sideboard set with goodies too. I sure wish I was there to join you!

  2. Oh, Alycia, I needed to see this today! I love that arrangement, and the breakfast presentation is so elegant and enticing.
    I am into comfort food this time of year and today especially, and if I could dive into that bread basket, I would!

  3. Another winner! I certainly would enjoy having breakfast at this table, and would dive headfirst into that basket of pastries. Those whimsical hens really send me. They are absolutely wonderful! Your centerpiece is another showstopper. You certainly have a way with those. Everything here is early morning perfection. Who wouldn’t want to have breakfast at this beautiful table? In looking at the picture of everything, I know you did the right thing with your new cabinets.

  6. Alycia, you had me at pastry basket centerpiece! Wow!! I am a fan of sunflowers and the arrangement is fabulous. We obviously both have great taste because I have the same sunflower runner 😍 I agree with Barbara, are there still available reservations for the Nichols B&B? This is a stunning presentation!
